  • Mobland

First of all, I think we safely presume that the term "mob" stems from mafia. When we think of mafias, Italian, Russian, sex-trafficking Eastern European syndicates come to mind. Now, can we say "Irish mob" or "English mob", sure, but they don't sound right. So, perhaps calling this show, about a top London crime family fighting it out with another faction, Mobland, does not feel correct. At least Gangs of London, another show of similar vein, wisely chooses a title that feels a bit more accurate. And funnily enough, Gangs of London, the more down and dirty take on fighting hood Brits, has a more prestige ring to it. Whereas Mobland, with its top-notch cast, again, feels hollow and tentative, a placeholder until someone thought of something better, I guess no one did. Look at the poster, do the actors alone sell the show, perhaps, but the show has more personality than the poster has you believe; it's humorless, but that's prestige, serious.

  • Airlines, how hard is it to onboard off-boarding protocols?

Flights can be easy; it's an easy fix, stay up all night, knockout at takeoff and magically wake up with a measly, never-ending, painful hour until landing. But, we know "easy" rarely follows flight. Flying and all of its accompanying tasks is the ultimate patience game. This is not something that is merely understood, conceptually; it is very well known and felt, not just by those flying, but now, we have a whole sub-genre of flying freakout "content".

  • Eleusinian Mysteries, Kykeon, and the foundation of Christian rituals

We must always pay attention to the synchronistic aspects of our lives, they truly are winks from God. When we make choices, the correct choices, as trivial as they may be, like picking up a book because it's about a subject you're really interested in. Then, because of who you are and knowing, deep down, these are the things that truly move you, the universe reminds you by having multiple podcasts all of a sudden be about the same topic and of course, this is organic, not because an author is making the promotional rounds or it's a hot topic. With that being said, The Immortality Key appeared in my life.

  • The Rites of Man at the Threshold of Civilization

Like most of my writing, this was an exercise that slowly developed into something important, and after letting a friend read a bit of it, he realized that I was writing my version of a man going through the alchemical process of turning into gold. Yes, I see that. And, it does begin this way, but it slowly transformed into my fantastical take on the establishment of a civilization and religious practices at the transition between the twilight era and that of the ancient overlords.
